HIST 403 - World War II: Origins and Aftermath

This course introduces students to some of this new research. In addition to exploring debates on the war in Europe and the Pacific, this course also examines discussions on the war in Asia. Students will examine new debates on the place of race, empire, and gender. Students will also discuss new research on the Holocaust. Finally, the course will examine the continuing and contested legacies of the War across the world. As needed.
