CORE III - Junior/Senior Capstone

Core III is an integrative course which should be completed senior year (or junior year for students in 3+ accelerated programs). Core III is a capstone which synthesizes all core curriculum goals. Capstones may be created by the major or may also be interdisciplinary in nature. Capstones may involve community engagement, research, internships, or co-curricular experiences. A major project should be completed which requires students to both act on a project and complete reflections on the impact of their work and general education experience and should include collaborative work and leadership. The course will also include modules on resume writing/interviewing/etc. Finally, financial well-being modules will be included as students transition to work or graduate school should be addressed.
