This course is designed to provide students with appreciation of chemistry and its impact on all aspects of life. Through the exploration of such environmental issues as sustainability, energy, and nutrition, the future of our world and interconnectedness of nations is analyzed. Present global issues are addressed from a chemical viewpoint. Three lecture periods. Spring.
