HIST 201 - Historian’s Craft

Exposes students to fundamental principles of historiography (the writing of history), research techniques, philosophy of history, and historical analysis. Demonstrates how historians “create knowledge” by conducting research and presenting their findings. Skills acquired in this course will be used in higher-level history courses. Prerequisite: History major or 100 or 200 level class or permission of instructor. Spring.
