MS 113 - Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver

Students will learn the skills required for diving with nitrogen-oxygen mixtures other than air up to 40% oxygen mixtures, which can allow for extended time underwater. Special physiological and dive planning considerations will be discussed, students will learn to plan optimal gas mixtures, and nitrox mixtures will be measured during all open water training dives. Prerequisite or co-requisite: MS 101.
