THEO 205 - Faith and Reason

This course explores the virtue of faith in the Christian tradition, with a particular focus on the contribution of Franciscan theologians, philosophers and saints. Topics explored include the nature and properties of faith, the rationality of faith in the modern world, and the relationship between Christian faith and salvation. Through engagement with the Franciscan tradition, students will be encouraged to reflect on the role which faith plays in their own lives and in the life of the University. As needed.
