PCT 104 - Introduction to Direct Patient Care Skills

This course introduces direct patient care skills to students. The procedures for obtaining medical history and the importance of documenting data about the patient are the focus of this  course. Studying common diseases and disorders, and treatments for patients of all ages will be covered. The course will also focus on the five aspects of the wellness model which includes physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual wellness.
