NURS 322 - Nursing Care of the Adult I

This course will enable students to care for individuals across the wellness/illness continuum. Health promotion, disease prevention, acute and intermittent care, chronic care, and exacerbations of chronic conditions will be emphasized for various health problems. Students will engage in patient-centered care, patient education, and professional development. Prioritization and management of care, evidence-based practice, and clinical judgment is introduced for providing quality care. Prerequisites: NURS 222, PSYC 209 Fall
