NURS 326 - Nursing Care of the Adult II

(4 credits)

This course will enable students to care for individuals along the wellness/illness continuum as a continuation of NURS 322. Health promotion, disease prevention, acute and intermittent care, chronic care, and exacerbations of chronic conditions will be emphasized for various health problems.

The progressive development of clinical judgment skills to promote compassionate, safe, and evidence-based patient-centered care will be emphasized. Students will enhance skills in prioritization, delegation, and management when caring for multiple clients. Prerequisites: NURS 322 , NURS 323 , NURS 324 , NURS 325 Fall
