MPAS 540 - Women’s Health I

(4 credits)

Under the supervision of the site preceptor, the student will have opportunities to see a variety of patients with gynecological or obstetrical complaints /concerns. The student will become proficient in accurate assessment of the gynecologic patient, with emphasis upon preventative care, screening recommendations, and the responsibilities involved with the primary care of women. The student may also have opportunity to observe or participate in pre- and post-natal care.
