EDUC 610 - Superintendency (4 credits) The school superintendent in Pennsylvania must have a diverse set of skills, talents, and habits of mind. The new reality of this position requires artful balancing of the divergent interests of students, parents, board, and community, while facilitating the development, articulation, and implementation of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by all constituents. This course will focus on the major political and leadership functions of the Superintendency with an emphasis on supporting student learning.
