MATH 205 - Essentials of Statistics

Same as STAT 205 (3 credits)
Descriptive statistics, basic probability principles, discrete and continuous probability distributions (binomial, normal, t, and chi-square). Estimation, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, and nonparametric theory and methods. Suggested for majors in the School of Sciences. Fall.
