Program Description:
All health sciences related majors discuss the importance of exercise in maintaining the health of their clients or patients. The Exercise Physiology Minor represents an opportunity for students to develop a stronger understanding of how exercise effects the body, and how to apply this knowledge to their clients and patients. To have more course options, it is recommended that students enroll in EXPH 305 in the Spring of their sophomore year.

Upon successful completion of the minor, students will be able to:
- Explain the physiological and adaptation responses to acute and chronic exercise.
- Utilize exercise physiology concepts to write safe and effective exercise prescriptions for individuals.
