Homebrewing Basics Micro-Credential (Online)

Program Description: 

This offering is a set of scaffolded online offerings that would be open, accessible, affordable, and flexible for students. These programs follow the recommendations of the MBAA (Master Brewers Associations of the Americas). Tier 1 (the micro-credential) is designed for learners who seek an introduction or guidance to homebrewing. Tier 2 (the certificate) provides learners with knowledge and experience to qualify for entry level jobs in a brewery. 

 

Tier 1: Homebrewing Basics Micro-Credential 

A one-semester program that introduces learners to beer and how to brew. Tier 1 prepares learners to be homebrewers by guiding through one’s first beer making. This certificate program is also designed for those who are just interested in learning more about brewing. Digital badging credential included. Students must be 21 years old or older.
