Program Description:

The online Business Administration Certificate was designed for individuals with little or no business education background. The certificate provides a basic understanding of current business trends, along with strengthening skills in the areas of management, accounting, and business writing and communication. The Business Certificate is a stand-alone credential or is stackable into the online AS in Business Administration or into one of the online business bachelor’s degrees.  All courses are offered online. The 18-credit program can be valuable to those beginning business careers, to those wanting to upskill and advance in their jobs, or to those changing career directions. 

Admission candidates must have graduated from secondary or post-secondary with a minimum GPA of at least a 2.0. 

Student Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of this program, students are able to:  

  • Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to make informed business decisions and solve problems.  

  • Develop effective business communication skills.
