To earn a paralegal minor certificate, a student must successfully complete a minimum of 6 courses accounting for 18 credits. All students must successfully complete the Core curriculum composed of 5 courses accounting for 15 credits. Students must then successfully complete at least 1 elective course accounting for 3 credits. Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0. All paralegal courses will be taught in the evening. Paralegal undergraduate courses are numbered at the 400 level.
There are no prerequisites for course enrollment. Students are encouraged, however, to take PRL 401, Basic Legal Principles, as the first or one of the first courses in the minor.
The minor can be combined with any major.

All courses are 3 credits. Offered Fall Semester. Students must successfully complete all five core courses. Elective Specialty Courses
All courses are 3 credits. Offered Spring Semester. Students must successfully complete one elective course. |
