ECON 202 - Sports Economics A study of basic economic principles applied specifically to the arena of sports. Questions to be addressed include: How can an employer best motivate an employee? Should local government give incentives for businesses to come? How does a firm best price and market its product? All of these issues and more will be discussed in a sports context and framework. Prerequisite(s): ECON 101 or permission of instructor. Spring (even-numbered years).
