PT 630 - Professional Issues - Ethics (2 credits) This course will introduce basic theory and concepts in rehabilitation ethics as they apply to physical therapy practice. Students will discuss situations that arise in clinical/professional practice and will analyze the ethical implications of these situations. Case studies will be used to facilitate understanding of ethical problem solving strategies. The Code of Ethics of the American Physical Therapy Association will be used as a foundation for analysis and discussion. Fall.
