OT 501 - Occupational Therapy IV (15 credits) The purpose of this course is to prepare students for Level II Fieldwork in all domain areas including the preparation for and successful completion of practical Advanced Competency testing, to complete significant steps toward the implementation of the Scholarly Project, and to provide structured, practical learning experiences by working closely with a Registered Occupational Therapist during the Level II Fieldwork experience. Students will be provided with direct opportunities to utilize the OT Process with clients engaged in occupations that are appropriate for their respective cognitive, psychosocial and physical stage of development. The focus is on learning through integration and synthesis of concepts. Prerequisite: OT 403 Fall.
