BUSA 312 - Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics for Business

This business analytics course explores more advanced predictive and prescriptive analytic technique utilized in the business and industry. In the predictive analytics domain, topics will include multiple regression analysis and more advanced hypothesis testing techniques. In the prescriptive analytics domain, topics will include optimization models, simulation, and an introduction to algorithms and machine learning. Ethical considerations of analytics and the presentation of data will be considered throughout the course. Microsoft Excel is required and used extensively throughout the course. Prerequisites: BUSA 311. Spring.
