MBA 503 - Managerial Economics (3 credits) A microeconomic course combining theory and quantitative methods as a tool for managerial decisions. The application of concepts and techniques to practical management problems is stressed. Topics covered include the analysis of consumer demand (forecasting), production and costs, prices, profit maximizing, resource use and allocation, and investments. Prerequisites: MBA 499 - Economics for Managers (or ECON 101 ) and STAT 301 - Quantitative Business Analysis I .
