PNGE 231 - Reservoir Rock Properties

(4 credits)
Systematic theoretical and laboratory study of physical properties of petroleum reservoir rocks; lithology, porosity, relative and effective permeability, fluid saturations, capillary characteristics, compressibility, rock stress, and fluid-rock interaction. Three lecture-recitation periods and one four-hour laboratory. Prerequisites: PHYS 121  and GEOL 205 . Fall.
