HIST 102 - Europe and the World Since 1815 (3 credits) Examines the evolution of political, economic, religious, social, and cultural institutions of the European nation-states and peoples from the Congress of Vienna to the present. Analyzes the fundamental events, themes, and issues that shaped modern Europe. Promotes an understanding and appreciation of non-Western political, cultural, religious, social, and economic systems by investigating European interaction with the people and institutions of Africa, Asia and the Americas. Fall, Spring, Summer.
